Hands down the best tent and event rental company I've worked with. The only tent company that will attempt to work with event producers at the Va. Beach Oceanfront. Their on site crew, specifically Jeff Phelps goes above and beyond to ensure the set up is perfect. I've worked with the owner Scott Cust for over 20 years. He's the best! The office staff is great too. The tents are always clean, something that is very important to my artist vendors. Perfect Event Rentals has perfected the tent rental equipment to make it easy for my artist vendors to handle the sidewalls to be able to open and close them easily, efficiently, and securely. There's no other tent rental company in the 757 who can handle the oceanfront with unexpected weather issues. And such great service. 5 stars!

I have rented with this company for a couple events either through the event or personally. Initially I was impressed with their tents and customer service but after my last rental experience they will never have my business or recommendation again. I rented a 10x20 tent with sidewalls from them in advance for our booth at the Neptune Festival. I planned to pay our full balance the week of the festival as I had my tent reserved already.. that’s until I get a random email from PER telling me my rental was cancelled. We were only a couple weeks out from the event so that really scared me. I called and asked about it.. after a back and forth I was told I could still rent one and had to pay the full balance over the phone. Very annoying. Fast forward to the week of the Neptune Festival and the event is cancelled the Wednesday before the event due to Hurricane Ian. PER has absolutely no contact with their customers after this. For over two weeks the only time I spoke with PER was me contacting them. No cancellation email, no update with the event being off, nothing. I called every few days as I’m wondering what is going on.. trying to see if my small business will be getting the $6-700 we spent with them back. Nothing. Finally after over two weeks I get an answer telling me we will get a refund of 20%. What a joke! This company, in my opinion, is far from perfect. Do not be fooled by the name. The only good thing I can say about this business would be the young woman that answers the phone, Alexa. She does her job well and is very polite. If you are a vendor that does events my advice would be to purchase a tent. Do not rent.

I had rented about 12 banquet tables and 100 chairs for a holiday luncheon I was hosting for my job, but when we received them, the chairs were covered in hay like they'd been in a barn, and also covered in a sticky substance that was hard to clean off. The tables had pieces of an autumn themed tablecloth still taped to parts of the tables from a previous renter and it was a mess. Long story short, I contacted Perfect Event and emailed pictures of everything and eventually spoke with Laura and she was so nice and understanding about it all. She apologized and gave me a huge discount, and for that I deeply appreciate her professionalism and I will be keeping them in mind in the future if I ever need to rent tables and chairs again.

This review is for Granny's Christmas Tree Lot by Perfect Event Rentals. Conveniently located on Great Neck Rd. right next to Church of the Holy Family, Granny's Christmas Tree Lot is THE spot to get your Christmas tree. We've now purchased our Christmas tree from them for the past few years in a row, after previously purchasing from another well-known lot nearby. They have the healthiest, best looking trees I've ever seen, and the best prices to boot. Their set-up is so organized that it made finding our perfect Christmas tree super easy. We especially appreciated the walkways which they have in place so that we weren't traipsing through the mud and dirt. A staff member was readily available to pull any tree out for us to examine on all sides, and they're all so pleasant! They have trees of all sizes, though tending more toward the kind of lush trees which you simply cannot get at Lowe's or Home Depot or the like. We were very impressed with their pricesβ€”we have 10 foot ceilings, so appropriately-sized trees can get quite pricey. The tree we chose will more than fill its corner, and that size usually runs about $150+. We paid only $108 for it at Granny's. So, not only are you getting the best trees, but you're also getting the best prices! They had our tree trimmed up and loaded onto our car in no time. We also purchased a bottle of Prolong, a water additive for your Christmas tree which truly works to prolong the tree's life (we buy it every year), as well as an extended thing to actually water the tree more easily. Don't forget the little pine reindeer! All in all: A+++ and would highly recommend.

I called and spoke to the young woman who answers the phone. After explaining my needs (tent, tables, chairs) for a business event, she told me that #1 the date was available and #2 that she would send over the quote. Fast forward a week, still no quote. So I call to find out when I could expect said estimate and contract. Same girl answers the phone and after hearing what I need, puts me on hold. Shortly a man answers and tells me that I MUST be mistaken, they are booked solid. AYFKM?? I MUST be mistaken on the date of an anniversary???? Wouldn't use these people for a doorstop rental. Rude and unprofessional.
