If I had to choose just one word to describe our wedding, it would have to be magical. And that’s largely in part due to The Society, Media & Event Firm and their passion for this industry. I had a vision in mind for our NYE wedding and they took it, ran with it, and exceeded all of my expectations. Jabril, Sharenda, and the whole team treated my wedding as if it was not only the most important day for me, but for them as well. The attention to detail and the open communication to keep me in loop was more than I could’ve asked for or expected. We chose to use the indoor sparks they offer for our first dance and the team decided that that we could do better than that and helped us use them for our exit and the NYE countdown, as well. That, along with all the different lighting details (such as the emerald wall lighting), brought all the fun and magic to our night that we wanted. If you want a team that makes your day THE best day, then you should book The Society, Media & Event Firm because once you do, you’ll have nothing to worry about except having fun.

My husband and I met Jabril (Hollywood Jay) by chance when he was doing some reconn at the venue we were doing a tour of. We both knew pretty much immediately that we wanted him to DJ/Emcee our wedding. He is comforting, funny, knowledgeable and extremely professional. Throughout the next year of planning he was available for any questions I had and helped us so so much. Fast forward to the wedding day where we got to also fall in love with his beautiful wife Shay and amazing team. They showed up and knocked the set up out, snapped some GREAT pictures and got the most amazing videos of our day. The whole crew was dressed to impress and kept the party going all night long. We had a lot of different music preferences and they nailed it for every one of our guests. I honestly feel like Jay n Shay are a part of our family now and could not recommend them enough. PS- spring for the “cloud”. We used it as part of our grand entrance and again during the reception during a fun party song along with the glow sticks provided and it was a HIT. All of the kids absolutely lost their minds. PPS- they had a slideshow of our engagement pictures playing and I never even sent any to them. They are magical and amazing 🥰

Jabril & his team did the uplighting, monogram, dance on cloud 9 & so much more for my wedding reception. Wow! Is an understatement! I was more than pleased with their work. He is very professional & was very understanding & helpful throughout the booking process. He was there for lighting & ended up in the Dj booth!! If you’re looking for professionalism & someone who makes it their business to deliver top notch service, look no further. I’m definitely recommending him to everyone that I know. If I ever need uplighting again, I’ll definitely be using The Society, Media, & Event Firm!!

Hat's off to Jabril and his Society Media Team.They were professional, interactive, engaging and they all had a calming spirit. This is just not a job for them. It was really making sure that the Bride and Groom had the best experience. They stepped in where needed which was over and beyond my expectations. The best reception ever!
