Our elementary school PTA hired Harmonic to install a new sound system for our school. Per their request, we paid the full invoice of $11,979 upfront, as equipment was being purchased on our behalf. Unfortunately, months later, we still do not have a functioning sound system. After we rented lift equipment (at their request) and they begin installation, the team discovered that the specific hanging speakers they had recommended and purchased were not compatible with our school’s ceiling structure. This was a significant oversight, and one that we now know should have been identified before any purchase or payment was made. Unfortunately, we trusted their expertise and judgment. They proposed an alternative solution and began work on that plan, but installation was halted mid-day due to lack of necessary materials. Upon reviewing the partial installation, we determined it was both unsafe and not aligned with our original agreement—specifically, they planned to place 170 lbs of speaker weight on plywood shelves, which raised serious safety concerns. As it stands, we are nearly $12,000 out, still have four speakers not installed, and the company has refused to issue a refund. Their only proposed resolution was to assist us in selling the speakers through a secondhand platform such as Facebook Marketplace, and to refund only the cost of materials-$1189 (only if we return to them the 2 pieces of plywood and 6 shelf brackets). If you choose to work with this company, we strongly advise that you get everything in writing and do not pay in full until the job is completed to your satisfaction. This has been an incredibly costly and disappointing experience for our PTA and our school community.

We have worked with Harmonic for many years and their service and expertise always surpass our expectations. We purchase our new video and audio gear directly from them as they offer some of the best prices around, even better than the "big box" AV resellers. We also use them for our lighting and video wall rentals. Ryan and his team are great to work with and we can't say enough about how professional and easy to work with they are. Ryan and his crew did a great job for us!! We did our first ever outside Easter service at Clinton Football Field and they set everything up in the rain just to make Sunday morning happen. Sunday ended up being beautiful and the audio for the service was great!

I host a non profit event to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. My event designer booked them before the pandemic. Due to the extension of the shelter in place the event had to be cancelled as it’s a danger for anyone for CF. Harmonics was the only vendor who refused to refund the deposit. No contract was ever signed though we requested multiple times. His business model is sloppy. Ryan Coffey was not professional, called me childish. Never provided any documentation where he attempted to refund my money. Said I wasn’t sharing the whole story on social media, so I released emails that called his bluff. He’s been radio silence since and still no refund. It’s a sad day for the CF community as we’ve had to pull from donations to cover the cost. Think twice before booking with this man because regardless if you have a contract or not he will not refund you regardless. I almost forgot he didn’t even save my date until we asked for the contract again, and based on text he had forgotten. Terrible business ethics.he also had to leave himself a 5 star on here because so many people give him bad reviews.

We've used Ryan for ten years now, and this guy is a master at his craft. We're a small church with limited resources, and he gives us the same profession as he would at a large music festival. We can always depend on Ryan and his quality service.
