My Wife and I married in New Orleans in October 2022. We had our wedding ceremony at Felicity Church. Our reception celebration was at "Messina's at the Terminal", an event venue on the Lakefront Airport. Messinas is an old art-deco building that has a natural beauty, but we still wanted to dress up the tables and add some lighting for the evening part of the celebration. Our wedding planner recommended a handful of event rental companies, and after much research, we confidently chose Firefly Ambiance! From the start, Richard consulted with us and we told him our vision. During our first meeting, we learned that Firefly Ambiance also does floral for weddings. We decided to go with Firefly for our wedding floral, candles, draping and lighting. Throughout the planning process, Richard was always awesome, accessible and quick to respond when we had questions. When our big day arrived, we were floored in the best way. We knew they would be good, but Richard and the Firefly Ambiance crew exceeded all expectations!! Firefly Ambiance executed our vision perfectly. From the bridal bouquet to the table centerpieces, the floral arrangements were absolutely stunning! Firefly expertly complimented the natural beauty of Messinas, with elegant candle arrangements, draping and uplighting. Everything Firefly added to our wedding was exceptionally beautiful. I don’t even know where to begin when it comes to FireFly Ambiance and Jennifer ! We had numerous disappointments along the way of planning our dream wedding weekend in New Orleans! Since it was a destination wedding, it was very difficult for us to navigate with vendors from so far away, but Jennifer and her team helped us along the way to make for a perfect weekend that went completely unhinged! If you are looking for an event, vendor, look no further! They are the best, and Jennifers attention to detail goes on matched! I only wish they lived in my city!

Firefly was a dream to work with throughout the entire wedding process. We flew from Brooklyn to New Orleans to look at the furniture and glass votives that they offered and they were so kind, patient and thoughtful throughout the whole meeting. We ended up getting long wooden farm tables from them, in addition to a couch, coffee tables and décor and everything they brought into the wedding elevated the atmosphere. Richard, in particular, was responsive via email and wonderful to work with throughout the whole process. We would highly recommend them. Image: Mateo & Company

If I could give Firefly Ambiance 6 stars I would! They were such a pleasure to work with and I'm still getting compliments on our reception and ceremony décor. They also handled all of our floral arrangements, which were incredibly beautiful. Everything was absolutely stunning and they really went above and beyond! We did a destination wedding in New Orleans, so I was anxious about not being intimately familiar with the ceremony and reception spaces and layout, and I didn't have a solid vision regarding décor, but that was before I met the amazingly talented, Mr. Richard Bartholomew. The second I spoke with Richard, I was no longer stressed. After a short talk, it was clear that he understood the vision and vibe I was going for and all anxiety was lifted. I could tell right away that he knows what he's doing, and while I tend to err on the side of controlling and involved in every detail, I was happy and comfortable with leaving it up to him and letting him work his magic. Everything was even more incredible than I could have imagined and I was blown away entering both the reception and ceremony venues! Richard also handled all of our beautiful wedding flowers; bouquets, boutonnieres, table centerpieces, ceremony podium, etc... AND since we aren't from the area, he helped us find a caterer for our welcome party, a reverend, and a cupcake vendor. Richard knows the city and has experience working with these vendors and all of his suggestions were spot on. He has an eye for detail, knows his flowers, and is the utmost professional. He was very kind, helpful, and easy to communicate throughout the whole process. I highly recommend Firefly Ambiance and Richard for décor and florals for any event. I don't have enough great things to say about them.
