I came by Friday to pick up a small order for a birthday party- two tables and 12 chairs. Well, the table I ordered was too large to fit in my car. Sam and her colleague went above and beyond to problem solve with me, ultimately digging around to locate an available table that would fit in the car AND meet the need for the party. (The first tables and chairs shown in the photo are from EventWorks.)

The dance floor from Event Works was exactly what I wanted! The corners of the floor did start peeling up as the night went on, but it was not that big of a deal. Communication by email was okay but was perfect over the phone!

Eventworks showed up 6 1/2 hours early (2 hours earlier than their delivery window) to deliver my wedding rentals, which included 160 chairs. I was not even at the venue when the arrived outside of the agreed upon time and they had to come back. I also paid them to do a chair flip after the ceremony and into the reception. They called me the day of my wedding to tell me that they did not have enough staff or the do the flip, and they canceled, which was unacceptable. I had my guests in full suits flipping chairs instead of enjoying cocktail hour. I was late for my hair and makeup appointment because they canceled via TEXT MESSAGE and when I called they put me on hold for 30 minutes. After the event, they arrived over 30 minutes late to pick up the rentals, causing me to miss my deadline to be out of the venue. My guests and family folded and stacked all of the chairs for them. They also delivered the wrong cake stand, so it did not match my decor. Bottom line, this company doesn’t staff accordingly, gives no courtesy or notice, and has terrible customer service. I do not trust that they will show up and fulfill the services I’ve constracted them to do.

I rented chairs to be delivered and picked up to the Birmingham botanical Gardens for my daughter’s wedding in May. As part of the rental agreement I submitted a detailed graph of how the chairs were to be set up, but this was not shared with the delivery drivers. As result I had to drive to the gardens on the wedding day to direct how the chairs would be set up. 45 minutes out of an already packed day was a major inconvenience. Three stars because they did deliver and pick up the chairs, but I am tempted to give them one star because their lack of communication so negatively impacted my day.

They never emailed or called me back so I went with Owen Brothers events. I’m sure they are busy with larger scale events but I was just disappointed. I’m normally not the type to leave a bad review for anyone but if I had known earlier I could’ve saved some time.
